Many autoimmune diseases such as scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, sarcoidosis, and myositis can have cardiac manifestations that can be very challenging to treat and manage. Early detection is key to treat patients with cardiac involvement. With the advent of novel multimodal cardiac imaging, this session will allow clinicians to understand which cardiac imaging tools such as advanced echocardiography, cardiac MRI, or PET/CT scan would be considered in the workup of rheumatic patients with cardiac manifestations.
