Innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) serve as first-line tissue sentinels, integrating stromal- and immune-cell derived signals to monitor homeostasis. This session will focus on the roles of ILCs in pregnancy, autoimmune, and fibrosing diseases. ILCs have been described in cancer immunology and with the advent of new treatments targeting innate immunity, these cells may become important targets of therapy in rheumatic diseases.
